SEARCH OPTIMIZATION – Hi Matt, has Cpod put much effort into search optimization? I think you guys are the best and most relevant site for a person if they type “learn Chinese” into Yahoo or Google, but guess what….you guys aren’t ranked high there.
Cpod’s website has been up for a while, so you can’t blame the non-ranking on it’s lifespan. Take a look at the sites that do rank high and see who has them linked to their website, if you can get links from them, you’ll move up in the ranking.
And for any Cpod fan’s out there, if you have a relevant and popular site, why not put a nice link to Cpod on your site to help out!
Oh, and I bet, because you have fresh daily content, if you add ‘learnchinese’ to your podcast URL, your rank will skyrocket. As in

I say this fully expecting that when I visit Shanghai I will now get some free popcorn from you all: learn chinese, language, Chinese, Beijing, Zhongwen.
