Bloody net, you can’t get away with anything these days without the whole world knowing :-)

OK, I’ve had a few weeks break from Chinese and a whole lot of stuff, had some real life things to attend to, fixed now.

Funny, this brain thing, more fickle than computers! I turned on my Palm’s mp3 player today and a CPod lesson started up… oh dear ::blush:: here we go, lots of re-learning to catch up with what I knew before. You need to realise that I can’t tell which podcast or what level they are because the Chinese characters don’t show properly on the screen, so it’s pot luck. Well, it turned out to be one I hadn’t listened to before, but I followed it really easily. It was Elementary level. Sometimes a total break from remembering any of it can make it sink in better than a few days hard slog. Just sometimes.

Sorry to sneak out of the room like that, but no need to fret, you guys were all here in my pocket the whole time, and look at all the lovely new stuff you’ve churned out while you were in that dark little box!

Hey AuntieSue

Don’t do that again without informing us. We had a worldwide search for you! Trouble is we were all saying “AuntieSue 在 哪兒 zài nǎr” And there are still to many people not listening to CPod—– Yet!

Welcome back

Good to know. Perhaps an overstep on worriedness, but when a large scale poster disappears, you (read ‘I’) start to get interesting imaginings of hostage and lots of guns. Maybe that’s just me…

Aunty,
Good to have you and your brain back.
