For those of you who couldn’t make it and are longing for the juicy details of our little coffee shop get together on Saturday, here they are. It was great to see so many students AND teachers out. There were people from all over the planet, some local, some from the North, some here for work, some just passing through, and some like me who really don’t know where they are or what they’re doing here but are having fun anyway. A lot of business cards and MSN names changed hands and the coffee bill was in the 4 figures I believe. Aric was there with his 10 pound camera dangling around his toes, so those 58.1 megapixle photos should be up on the chinesepod flickr site in the next few days. And yes, there was a bit of an after party where photos were taken… but if I post them on our site I may get some pretty dirty looks around the office. As a random side note, I’ve now started my own flickr account where I will be posting pictures of such things as photos of after parties and the like.

SCARED STRAIGHT – Okay, remind me next time that sometimes it’s best not to get what one asks for!
You sure you want us to see these?
What, you’ve never seen a guy in a fake chanel tank top with candy cane straps and floral clam-digger pants before?? Come on guys… and whatever cloths I had to display, it is worth it to show off John’s custom made giant kungfu suit and Matt doing a Richard simmons impression. Aric’s got actual photos of the event up on the ChinesePod flickr site now, and if your interested, on my site I’ve uploaded more photos of the hosts that I’ve taken but that never made it onto the offical site and a few more of Saturday’s event that Hank took.
