These t-shirts should ‘go down well’ in Italy.

On sale in the markets here in Shanghai, t-shirts depicting the notorious World Cup smackdown, when Zizou dropped the nut on Marco Matterazi.

Zidane headbutt

These shirts make it crystal clear what both the French Italian views of the incident are valid: Zidane committed a senseless, violent, and disgraceful act. But Materazzi fully deserved it! (Hey, it was the World Cup final.)

The price? To you, only US $6.

So now you want someone to take your hand and help you find your way back to your home planet? But it might come in handy if you wear it in Shanghai with Jenny’s address pinned to it as well.

On the subject of Jenny, have you noticed she’s never posted in the weblog section?

Also on the subject of t-shirts, there should be a chinesepod one that says ‘Your Time, Your Place, Your Pace, Mandarin On Your Terms’ on front and the same on the back but written in Chinese. Was it Aric that came up with that slogan? I think it’s genius.

I got a Chinesepod t-shirt, and I like the idea of adding the slogan. At least “Mandarin on Your Terms” would be good on the back maybe. It’s very comfortable and probably fairly intriguing to passersby. I figured that, if I was doing this kind of language study at a university, I’d wear a shirt with their logo around town, so this is the equivalent.

A few people at work have starting calling me ‘Pod’, I don’t think they understand what it means.

Isn’t this brilliant? As soon as Sebastian took it out of his bag, we all went nuts.

Bazza (Pod) – I wish I could take credit for that slogan, but it was Steve. I just voiced it (but thanks, ha ha).
