I’ve been invited to do judge a talent competition for the TV show “Cheer Good Man’. The show is massively popular and, I believe syndicated to several parts of China. The producers, Oriental TV, in Shanghai, want to replicate the enormous success of Supergirl. So far, it seems to be working. The audience is in the tens of millions and growing each week.
The show will go out live on Saturday evening. My job is to ask the particpants a number of probing questions. (I have to think about that one.)

What an odd title . Is it in English? Are there some words or some punctuation missing, or is Cheer a person’s name?

As far as I know it’s like American Idol, only these guys sing, dance and do other stuff.
