Our blog row is growing. We now have blogs in English, German, with Joachim Muller, Chinese (needs updating!) and Japanese with Kenta Torimoto. Check ‘em out.
Btw, you may have noticed we changed the graphic at the top of this page. Some of you had complained that he blog looked as if it were separated from the rest of the site. That wasn’t the intention, so we’ve gone back to he original graphic. What do you think?

It looks better, but it is still separated from the rest of the site, because there is no sidebar on the left, and hardly any links at the top, so no easy navigation to other components of the site.
I agree, I miss the old integration.
Tough ‘enuf? – The change in banner helps, but it’s like Mao 70% good and 30% needs work.
The banner doesn’t fade to the right, that’s a 15-minute filter-fade in Photoshop. Why the fade, because then it leads the eye to the right – where the Chinesepod Home and Blog links should be to match the Chinesepod page. It also leads the eyes to the Announcement Buttons. And shall we also mention that the font in the banner is different, it’s not bold Arial Black, looks like bold Arial narrow.
And let’s not forget to put in a spacer, line break after the banner and before the date. That’s a simple add to the Wordpress Theme layout css or Stylesheet. I’m not suggesting a 100% mimicing of the Cpod website, but 28% more consistency.

slightly off-topic : I mistakenly typed in blog.chinesepod.com (singular) and it returns an (almost) blank page saying “it is ok!”. Took me a while to figure that one out, thought it was maintenance time or some such.
how about an automatic redirection?

Funny, that the comments are all about the look of the blog. when you read it in your bloglines or google-reader, you don’t care about it. and yes, when you read the blog in your “aggregator”, you miss the annoucement “want to blog for chinesepod?”. (i would have post it if I were you)
also, you didn’t post about the RSS change. actually, you (matt) did but in the new RSS! well, i guess it was just a mistake and you kind of apologize for it. I didn’t see it right away as i didn’t subscribe to the new feed at that time.
Sorry if you discuss this somewhere else, i don’t read all the comments of all the posts, as well as all the posts in the forum. there’s too much noise
